  1. Where is the Dealer Portal?

    You will see a link in the Left Navigation bar that says "Dealer Portal". It is where "Dealer Login" was when you are not logged in.


  2. Where is the Verification Number?

    On the Dealer Home Page, next to the Navigation bar, in red.


  3. Where is the Dealer Home Page?

    Click the link in the Left navigation bar that says "Dealer Portal", then select "Dealer Home Page".


  4. Why is there a Verification Number?

    Unfortunately some miscreants crept through the cracks and abused information and accounts. So, to counter this, we got rid of them and added the verification code, as to keep you, the client, safe from those who think they are above the law.


  5. How do I Add, Edit Or Delete Contacts?

    Click Dealer Portal, then Edit Contacts.
    You will now see a list of all the contact that are linked to your account.
    To add a new contact , click Add New Contact, complete the form, click Save.
    To Edit an existing contact, click Edit next to the required contact's details, change the details, click Save.
    To Remove an existing contact, click Remove next to the required contact's details.


  6. How do I set who gets the SMS with the Verification Code?

    When you are in the Edit Contacts page (see above), you will see True or False in the column "Receive Verification SMS".
    If you want to edit that, click edit on the selected contact, and check or un-check the Receive Verification Code SMS checkbox. Click Save.


  7. What is the Send Verification button for?

    Clicking this button will send your Verification Code to all the Contacts that have "Receive Verification SMS" checked.


  8. The SMS Tests are not working.

    Check that the cellphone numbers for the contacts are correct. If the numbers are correct, please contact the Webmaster on webmaster@pinnacle.co.za.


  9. Where do I find the latest Pricelists?

    Click "Dealer Portal", click Pricelists.


  10. I am not seeing the correct Pricelists.

    Please contact the Webmaster on webmaster@pinnacle.co.za with details, and he will investigate.


  11. Where can I see the latest promotions?

    Click "Dealer Portal", click Promotions. You will see all the active promotions, from latest to oldest.


  12. Where can I see all the templates for the promotions?

    When you are viewing the Promotions (see above) the template will be shown next on it's right.


  13. What are the templates?

    Templates look exactly like the Promotions that we send to the dealers, but we left out the prices and our branding. This means that you can download it, edit it and send it to your customer base. Aren't we just the nicest and friendliest?


  14. How do I edit the templates?

    There are quite a few ways. The easiest answer would be to use an Image Editing Application.
    On Microsoft Windows operating systems, you have Paint that comes as a standard application.
    Otherwise, you can use Microsoft Word to edit the image. How to place text over a graphic in Word?

    Add text to a drawing object or picture.


  15. How do I change the email address that the website notifications are sent to?

    Click "Dealer Portal", click Edit Profile. Change the email address. Click save.


  16. How do I change the name of my company / URL / Mark-up percentage?

    Click "Dealer Portal", click Edit Profile. Change the details, click Save.


  17. What do I have to do to receive the promotional material via email?

    Click "Dealer Portal", click Edit Profile, Click "Notify Me".


  18. How do I unsubscribe from the promotional emails?

    Click "Dealer Portal", click Edit Profile, click "Remove Me".


  19. How do I get on the Where To Buy List?

    Or you can just contact the branch manager where you are registered. He/She will add you to the list. Please note that we only add dealers meeting certain criteria. This is up to the Branch Manager's discression.


  20. How do I change my password?

    Click "Dealer Portal", click "Change Password". Enter your old Password, enter your new Password, confirm your new Password. Click "Change Password".


  21. What is Customer Mode?

    Customer Mode is a special function that hides Cost Price, and shows the cost to the estimated value of your cost price plus your mark-up percentage that you specified.
    In the top left you will see a link that says "Customer Mode". Clicking this will change all the prices that are shown to be the item price plus the mark-up that you specified in the Profile area.
    Please note that the cost price is NOT shown, only an Estimated Retail Price.


  22. What is Dealer Mode?

    Dealer mode is part of the Customer mode, but it resets all prices to "normal". Cost price is shown, unlike when you are in Customer Mode, but the Estimated Retail value is still shown, as above. In the top left you will see a link that says "Dealer Mode". Once you select it you will exit Customer Mode.


  23. Is there any way that I can get a feed of your information on my site?

    Yes! I have developed two web services that you may use.
    But for this, you will need to contact the Webmaster on webmaster@pinnacle.co.za.
    Access to this information is free!


  24. Where is the PDF Pricelist Generator?
