  1. What is the Registration Process

    Firstly, you enter your User name and email, and then click Next.
    Complete the Dealer Information page, click Next.
    If you see the DEALER CONFIRMATION page, then your application was completed and sent to us for Validation and Activation.
    If you are returned to a page after clicking Next, please see the errors and correct them, then click Next.
    NB: If you do not see the DEALER CONFIRMATION page at the end of the registration, your request will NOT be sent to the required people for verification and you will not be granted access.


  2. Where do I Register on the Web Site?

    By clicking on the Register link on the navigation bar on the left.


  3. What is my User Name?

    The username that you need to enter is any user name that you will remember.


  4. I get an error that the username is already in use!

    This means that you may have been registered already, or that someone else is using it.
    To find out if the user name has already been registered by you, contact the webmaster at webmaster@pinnacle.co.za with the specific user name, and he will provide you with information.
    Otherwise, simply enter a different user name.


  5. I get an error that the email is already in use!

    This means that you may have registered previously, or that an incomplete registration is floating around. Contact the webmaster at webmaster@pinnacle.co.za with the specific email, and he will either provide you with information regarding your existing account, or delete the incomplete registration.


  6. Which Branch should I choose?

    This is the Pinnacle Africa Branch where you are registered as a Dealer.


  7. What is the Pinnacle Dealer Code?

    This is your account number with Pinnacle Africa. If you are unsure about your code, please contact the branch where you are registered and ask them to provide you with the Pinnacle Dealer Code for your company.


  8. What should I enter in the Company Name?

    The company name that is regsitered with Pinnacle Africa. If you have a different Trading Name, then enter the registered name here, and the Trading Name below.


  9. My Company does not have a Trading Name, what now?

    Leave the field empty.


  10. What is the Margin Percentage?

    This field is the "standard" margin that you add to the products that you resell. This is used to calculate the pricing that is shown when you are in Customer Mode. See the Dealer Information Section for more details on this function.


  11. What should I enter in the First Name / Last Name fields?

    The name and surname of the person registering will be appropriate.


  12. What is the format in the Telephone Number field?

    Here you enter ONLY the number, not the dialing code. I know that the dialling code is now part of the number, but your dialing code is linked via the Location information that you will add later.
    Only enter numbers, i.e. 0 to 9.


  13. What is the format in the Cellphone Number field?

    Only enter numbers, i.e. 0 to 9.


  14. What is the format in the Fax Number field?

    Here you enter ONLY the number, not the dialing code. I know that the dialling code is now part of the number, but your dialing code is linked via the Location information that you will add later.
    Only enter numbers, i.e. 0 to 9.


  15. What is the Receive Mail checkbox for?

    If you check this box, you will receive emails regarding our promotions. If you later on decide that you do not want the emails, you can unsubscribe on the email, or in the Dealer Portal. For more information see the Dealer Information Section.


  16. What is the Country / Province / City field for?

    This is so that we can add your Dialing Code, as well as showing you in the correct area if you are on the Where To Buy list. Once you are a Registered dealer, and you want to add your company to this list, please see the Dealer Information section of the help files.


  17. I click Next, but the same page is displayed.

    Please check the error messages on the screen. Chances are, you either entered a field incorrectly, or you failed to enter a value in a required field.
    Correct the error and click Next Again.


  18. Why do I have to wait two (2) business days for the activation?

    You don't. The activations are sent to spesific people the moment your registration is complete, and they usually activate the request within two (2) hours. The two (2) days is there in case of illness, holidays or other situations that may cause the activation process to be delayed.


  19. Where do I get/set my Password?

    You initial password is generated by the server. Please note that the server had a bad childhood (she was never allowed to have a pet mouse, and her parents refused to take her to the server farm). This means that the passwords that she provides are, to say the least, scary. I recommend Copying And Pasting the password.
    We are trying to councel the server, but she refuses to go, complaining about fuzzy logic and static electricity.

  20. I received an email with my Password, but I can not log in.

    Please see the Dealer Information section of the help files.
